Cellcoat Apprentice Wins Maintenance Apprentice of the Year Award!

Yesterday, 30th March 2017, marked the Apprentice of the Year Awards 2017 at the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC). Over 200 apprentices, employers and other stakeholders gathered at the prestigious University of Sheffield’s Firth Hall, a grade II listed building, to celebrate the successes of the shortlisted apprentices.  The awards recognised the achievement of apprentices within the AMRC Training Centre as well as employers, such as Cellcoat, who continue to invest and support their apprentices throughout their training programmes.

AMRC’s core messages for the awards were to recognise achievement, innovation & fresh thinking and to raise industry standards.

Cellcoat are honoured to have one of our apprentices, Josh Corton, win the Maintenance Apprentice of the Year Award!  We're delighted with this as we’ve witnessed Josh’s dedication over the last eight months to produce outstanding work, overcome barriers and become an ambassador for our company.

Cellcoat continues to invest in quality staff training so we can continue to innovate and provide quality lamination for the next generation, whilst also supporting local talent by working with AMRC (see www.amrctraining.co.uk).
